Rockets,
turned in the hand.

Four interactive isometric studies built with the BodyAtlas 3D turntable. Every part is re-projected and re-shaded as it turns; drag to orbit, scroll to zoom. The numbers come from SpaceX's public specifications.

Starship · full stack

A stainless two-stage reuse system. The booster returns to the tower; the Ship crosses the atmosphere belly-first and lands on its engines.

Falcon 9 · Block 5

The workhorse of the fleet. Nine Merlin engines light in a staggered start, the booster separates, flips and lands on its legs while the second stage carries the payload to orbit.

Raptor 3

The third-generation Raptor folds its plumbing into the casting: fewer parts, no heat shield, and a tighter powerhead. Thirty-three of them lift Super Heavy; six push the Ship.

Crew Dragon

The crewed half of the Dragon programme. A reusable capsule with a disposable trunk, it docks itself to the station, survives re-entry behind an ablative shield, and splashes down under parachutes.
